Paper, ink, a fine rule, and a vermilion reading mark. The page borrows the restraint of a printed book without imitating a historical edition or adding symbols to the source.
English and Tibetan remain in the order supplied by the publisher. Heading levels, emphasis, quotations, tables, and notes are rendered from the Markdown; no translation is generated or corrected.
One reader, many works
Reader is the home for the collection. Inside a reading room, the open work supplies its own title, source title, and credits. No book, author, or tradition is assigned to an unidentified manuscript.
The collection is separate from the manuscripts opened in this session. Published works are defined in the reader configuration with their English and source URLs. The reader checks for updates on opening and every five minutes while the page is visible. Local imports are not saved to a collection or uploaded. Switch works without changing the reader.
Your place stays yours
Reading positions, bookmarks, and appearance preferences stay in this browser’s storage. Imported manuscripts are held in memory only, unless you explicitly save an offline reading copy. There is no analytics code. Noto Sans Tibetan is bundled with the reader.
